Over $100,000 raised for the American Heart Association in the past 4 years!

Here in Alpha Phi, one of our core values is service. Year round we spend our free time raising money for causes near and dear to our hearts, the Alpha Phi Foundation and the American Heart Association.

Additionally, our chapter works to raise money for philanthropies all over campus.

Within UCI Greek Life, we support several fraternities and sororities' causes and aid their philanthropic efforts!

Mr. Heartthrob

Mr. Heartthrob is Greek Life's first event of the year!This pageant involves fraternity members competing on stage in events including an opening dance, talent, and interview with the motivation to win the title of Alpha Phi's "Heartthrob."

Boothing

For all of our philanthropy events, we booth on campus to spread the word about our cause. At the booth, greek life members can play games and sign in to earn points for their team. It's a great way to meet new people and get our peers involved!

Alpha Phifa

Held during Spring Quarter, Alpha Phifa is our philanthropy event where each fraternity puts together a team as they face off in a soccer jamboree! This weeklong event also includes Mac N Phis, another popular yearly event!

Campuswides

A few times a year, Eta Kappa opens our home for dinner and fun with the members of our chapter. We invite friends, professors and all of the UCI campus to enjoy some delicious food and conversations with our sisters.

External Philanthropy

In our free time, we are always finding a way to give back to the community - whether it be partaking in other fraternity/sorority philanthropies, charity walks or donating to food drives!

Every year the Eta Kappa chapter hosts our most cherished event of the year, Red Dress Gala, filled with family, friends and philanthropy where we raise money for the foundations near and dear to our hearts.

All proceeds benefit the American Heart Association and the Alpha Phi Foundation, which provides funding and educational programming for women's cardiac care organizations as well as leadership initiatives for Alpha Phi chapters.

It’s simple. We go Red! For courage, for hope, and for finding a cure for the #1 killer of women in America.
